Classic Cantabile P-38 Hook Harp 38 Strings - Returned (Condition: Acceptable)

Classic Construction With A Solid Pillar

A central element of the harp is the turned beech pillar, which provides high stiffness to the entire instrument and thus improved vibration transfer from the strings. With 38 strings the harp offers a range of over 6 octaves (A, - c''''). From folk music to works by classical composers, a wide variety of pieces can already be played on this harp.

The soundbox made of high-quality ash wood radiates natural beauty and elegance. The wood not only gives the harp a warm tonal character but also a robust construction that ensures longevity and stability. The top (soundboard) is made of spruce, which, due to its pronounced resonance behavior, offers excellent tone and dynamics.

Tuning

The 38 strings are diatonically tuned to E-flat major, with the red and blue strings indicating the positions of C and F. By flipping up the respective color-coded hooks, the harp can quickly be retuned to another key, allowing you to play flexibly with others.

For first attempts and easier understanding, a C tuning (C major) is also possible. Two tuning keys included in the delivery are used to tune the instrument: the square key is used on the tuning pegs, while the hex key serves the fine tuners on the opposite side.

Flexible Applications

The harp is ideal for use in various musical genres such as folk music, classical or contemporary music. Whether you play solo, perform in an ensemble or simply team up with other musicians: thanks to its versatile tonal palette, the Classic Cantabile pillar harp lets you express different moods and emotions. From gentle, dreamy tones to lively, rousing sounds — the possibilities are nearly limitless.

Includes Padded Transport Bag

The softly padded bag not only provides your instrument with sufficient protection from dust and scratches, the outer pocket also holds the two tuning keys and other accessories.
