Takamine TDP561 Custom Black - Return (Condition: good)

Takamine NEX Acoustic Guitar With Cutaway And Stage Electronics!

The Takamine TDP561 Custom is a limited electro-acoustic guitar for players seeking a more compact alternative to the classic dreadnought without sacrificing balanced acoustic tone, comfortable playability and reliable live performance.

NEX Body With Comfortable Cutaway

The NEX body shape developed by Takamine combines a comfortably manageable playing feel with a balanced tonal character. Compared to large jumbo or dreadnought formats, the body feels more controlled and direct while remaining full enough for strumming, picking and modern singer-songwriter arrangements. The cutaway eases access to the upper frets and makes the guitar interesting for melodic lines, soloing and more demanding chord voicings.

Solid Tonewoods For Clear Response

The solid spruce top delivers quick response, clear highs and a good dynamic range. The solid sapele back supports the tone with warmth, midrange presence and defined projection, while the sapele sides give the instrument stability and tonal balance. The result is a versatile acoustic sound that sits well both when accompanying vocals and in a band context. The mahogany neck with a C profile fits comfortably in the hand, while the rosewood fretboard offers a familiar, grippy playing feel.

Takamine Electronics For Stage And Studio

For amplified use the guitar is equipped with the Takamine Palathetic pickup and CT4B II preamp. This system is designed to deliver a natural reproduction of the guitar's acoustic character and provides practical tone shaping with a 3-band EQ right on the instrument. The integrated tuner makes quick corrections on stage, in the rehearsal room or before recording straightforward. That makes the guitar especially suitable for live musicians, recording situations and anyone who needs a reliable electro-acoustic guitar with professional features.

High-quality Details And Precise Hardware

The 644 mm scale, 20 frets and a nut width of 42.5 mm create a familiar playing feel for acoustic players. A two-piece saddle supports intonation while chrome die-cast tuners ensure precise tuning. Multi-layer bindings, a concentric rings rosette and dot-in-dot abalone inlays add subtle visual accents without overloading the instrument's technical character. The included case protects the guitar during transport and makes it ready for stage, lessons, studio and home use.
