The Perfect Balance Between Today and Yesterday!
You'll love the traditional appointments like the wood binding, the dovetail neck/body joint, the open gold tuners, and the elegant pearl inlays. The top is made using the Vintage Tone System, which ages the wood to reproduce the tone and beauty of a hundred-year-old Martin. Enjoy modern details like a carbon-fiber bridge reinforcement plate to boost volume and a Vintage Deluxe neck for added comfort. Whether you're playing on stage or in the studio, you'll sound fantastic.
The 000-18 Modern Deluxe Is a New Interpretation of the Martin Vintage
The 000-18 Modern Deluxe is a new interpretation of the Martin Vintage. This guitar is packed with custom features and modern technology you need to see, feel, and hear for yourself. The vintage appointments include a VINTAGE TONE SYSTEM (VTS) spruce top, a dovetail neck joint, and a natural hide-glue construction that gives it the rich, fully aged Martin tone that has inspired generations.
The look is unique with East Indian rosewood binding, stylish gold frets, gold tuners and a unique 1930s-style pearl inlay logo on the headstock. Ultramodern features include Liquidmetal bridge pins with red dots and a carbon-fiber composite bridge that increases volume, plus a slightly asymmetrical neck shape for maximum hand comfort on and over the fretboard. This guitar is anything but standard.
