Die J-45 EC Studio ist außerdem mit einem klassischen Cutaway ausgestattet, der einen hervorragenden Zugang zu den oberen Bünden ermöglicht, sowie mit einem hochmodernen Fishman Sonicore Tonabnehmer unter dem Sattel, der zusammen mit einem Fishman Presys II Preamp für einen herausragenden Klang sorgt, wenn auf der Bühne oder im Studio gespielt wird. In reality the guitar looks even better than in the photos, brilliant sound and clean intonation up past the 12th fret. The built in tuner works accurately, but the 9v battery for the preamp doesn't last very long. I have corrected the string position a little at the bridge, so that the Barrè fingerings are easier to play for my taste .
