Classic Cantabile WS-10-CE - Electro-acoustic Dreadnought with Versatile Connections!
The Classic Cantabile WS-10-CE from the Western Series offers the dimensions and playing feel of a classic Dreadnought acoustic guitar, enhanced with a cutaway and built-in electronics. You can play it acoustically without any extra equipment and plug it straight into an amp whenever you need to.
Dreadnought Construction with Cutaway
The body is made from basswood, used for the top, back, and sides. At approximately 103 cm tall, 40 cm wide, and 12 cm deep, this instrument has a full-size body. The cutaway opens up access to the upper frets, making it easier to play above the usual chord positions. It gives the Dreadnought extra room for melodies and solos.
Built-In Electronics
A built-in pickup/preamp lets you amplify the WS-10-CE without an external pickup. The tone controls include Bass, Middle, and Treble, plus a separate Presence control. The preamp also features a tuner with a backlit LCD display. There are two output options: a 6.3 mm jack output and an XLR output.
Proven Dimensions for a 6-String Acoustic Guitar
The birch neck is glued to the body and fitted with a maple fingerboard with 20 frets. The fingerboard has a 12-inch (305 mm) radius, with white dots marking the fret positions. The scale length is 64.5 cm, or around 25.4 inches. The fingerboard measures 43 mm wide at the nut.
Well-Matched Hardware for Everyday Use and the Stage
The nut and saddle are made of plastic. White plastic bridge pins with black dots secure the strings at the maple bridge. Open-gear tuners keep the guitar in tune, while a two-way truss rod lets you adjust the neck relief. A 9 V battery for powering the preamp, equalizer, and tuner is included.
Make the WS-10-CE your go-to versatile acoustic guitar for your next set!
