Classic Cantabile - Simply Sounds Better!
The AS-851 is ideal for beginners and intermediate players! Whether for music lessons, band rehearsal, live on stage, or around the campfire, this guitar will bring you joy wherever you play!
The Classic Cantabile AS-851 - The Perfect Beginner's or Backup Instrument
The Classic Cantabile AS-851 is perfectly suited for guitar beginners. With a scale length of 59 cm, the instrument is ideal for left-handed children of about 8 to 11 years. Of course, adult beginners also benefit from the easy playability of the AS-851.
Selected Materials - Clean Workmanship
Only carefully selected materials are used for AS-851 guitars. The laminated top and the body produce a beautiful, warm tone and the neatly crafted bridge transmits the strings' vibration even with a delicate touch down to the smallest detail. The smooth tuning machines also ensure optimal tuning stability.
A Tone That Speaks for Itself!
Especially for beginners, it's important that learning is fun. A guitar must not only be functional to ensure optimal learning success, but the sound should also not be neglected. The AS-851 models deliver a expressive tone that provides lots of fun and also allows a good assessment of your own playing.
Classic Looks
The AS-851 stands out visually with its light natural top and the dark-tinted body. The elaborately crafted rosette, the attractive, decorated tuning machines and the subtle headstock complete the overall look.
Which Guitar Size Is Right?
The scale length defines the size of a guitar—or more precisely: the length of the vibrating string between nut and bridge. The standard scale length is 650 mm and corresponds to a 4/4 guitar. All other sizes are therefore smaller and are recommended accordingly for children and young people.
Our Recommendations for the Appropriate Scale Length by Age and Height:
| 1/4 Size | Age 4 to 7 years | Body height up to 110 cm | Scale approx. 47–49 cm |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1/2 Size | Age 5 to 9 years | Body height 110 to 130 cm | Scale approx. 53–55 cm |
| 3/4 Size | Age 8 to 11 years | Body height 120 to 140 cm | Scale approx. 59–62 cm |
| 7/8 Size | Age 10 to 13 years | Body height 130 to 150 cm | Scale approx. 62–63 cm |
| 4/4 Size | Age from approx. 14 years | Body height from approx. 150 cm | Scale approx. 63–65 cm |
