Classic Cantabile - Sounds Simply Better!
The AS-851 is perfect for beginners and intermediate guitarists! Whether for music lessons, band rehearsal, live on stage or around the campfire: this guitar will bring you joy everywhere!
The Classic Cantabile AS-851 - The Perfect Beginner Or Second Instrument
The Classic Cantabile AS-851 is ideal for guitar beginners. With a scale length of 65 cm the instrument is perfectly suited to children and teenagers from about 14 years of age. Of course, adult beginners also benefit from the easy playability of the AS-851.
Selected Materials - Clean Workmanship
Only carefully selected materials are used for AS-851 guitars. The laminated top and body develop a beautiful, warm tone and the neatly crafted bridge transfers the string vibration, even with a delicate finger attack, down to the smallest detail. The smooth-running tuning machines also ensure excellent tuning stability.
A Tone That Speaks For Itself!
Especially for beginners it's important that learning is fun. A guitar must not only be functional to support effective learning, it should also sound good. The AS-851 models deliver an expressive tone that makes practicing enjoyable and allows for a clear assessment of your own playing.
Classical Look
The AS-851-BUB stands out visually with a blueburst top and a black body. The elaborately crafted rosette, the beautifully decorated tuning machines and the understated headstock complete the overall look.
Which Guitar Size Is Right?
The scale length indicates the size of a guitar—or more precisely: the length of the vibrating string between nut and bridge. The standard scale length is 650 mm and corresponds to a 4/4 (full-size) guitar. All other sizes are consequently smaller and recommended for children and young people.
Our Recommendations For Scale Length Based On Age And Height:
| 1/4 Size | Age 4 to 7 years | Height up to 110 cm | Scale length approx. 47-49 cm |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1/2 Size | Age 5 to 9 years | Height 110 to 130 cm | Scale length approx. 53-55 cm |
| 3/4 Size | Age 8 to 11 years | Height 120 to 140 cm | Scale length approx. 59-62 cm |
| 7/8 Size | Age 10 to 13 years | Height 130 to 150 cm | Scale length approx. 62-63 cm |
| 4/4 Size | Age from approx. 14 years | Height from approx. 150 cm | Scale length approx. 63-65 cm |
