Lechgold FH-60AR Anima rossa Bb Flugelhorn, Red - Return (Condition: Very Good)

The Jazz Flugelhorn With A Red Soul!

"What first caught my eye was the instrument's appearance," says professional musician Karl Hanspeter about his first encounter with the Lechgold FH-60. "It immediately appealed to me. Then I played it. It has a beautiful, warm flugelhorn sound - a really good instrument. And the name 'Anima rossa' is a perfect fit for my red special edition. It's the jazz flugelhorn with a red soul."

"Anima rossa" Signature Flugelhorn

The Lechgold FH-60AR "Anima rossa," lacquered red for Karl Hanspeter, impresses with its warm, nuanced sound. High-quality stainless steel Perinet valves are exceptionally easy to operate thanks to their low material weight.

A trigger slide with lever mechanism on the 3rd valve, fitted with a reliable, smooth-running Minibal joint, helps ensure accurate intonation.

The body and bell are made from high-quality phosphor bronze. The bell measures 152 mm in diameter, and the bore is 11.2 mm.

With a Lechgold flugelhorn, you get a high-quality brass instrument, crafted through a multi-stage manufacturing process and offering excellent intonation. Plus, an experienced brass instrument maker carries out a final inspection of the instrument on site.

Includes Klier Mouthpiece & Lightweight Case

Following Karl Hanspeter's recommendation, the package includes his Klier Signature Exclusive 3C A 28H A2 mouthpiece. As the professional puts it: "A flugelhorn mouthpiece from Klier's Exclusive series is simply the best choice you can make."

The flugelhorn comes in a sturdy lightweight case, of course, keeping your instrument well protected in transit.

Professional Musician Karl Hanspeter's Verdict

"You simply won't find anything comparable in this price range! Many other flugelhorns sound very bright and lack character. I think you've found some great materials here, or perhaps the right combination with the lacquer. In any case, the instrument has a really warm sound.

For many musicians, the only thing that matters is that an instrument plays perfectly in tune. For me, a horn's sound and character are more important, because what good is perfect intonation if the instrument doesn't sound good...?

You have to connect with an instrument, and that is only possible with an instrument that has character. If you're skeptical because of the price, I can only say: try it out. You'll be surprised.

In my opinion, you can play it in a big band or a community band - and as a soloist, too. It sounds great everywhere."

About Karl Hanspeter

Born in 1958, Karl Hanspeter is from Altrei in South Tyrol. As a teenager, he toured Europe with the Tyrolean show band in the 1970s. He completed his military service in Cuneo and Brixen, then studied at the "C. Monteverdi" Conservatory in Bolzano from 1980, graduating three years later with a diploma in trumpet performance.

Karl Hanspeter gained experience as an orchestral musician and further developed his skills with ensembles such as the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento, the Tyrol-Brass Quintet, and the large Bolzano Brass Ensemble. Despite his classical training, he has always been interested in jazz and Bohemian brass band music, too...

For almost fifteen years, he found success as the founder and bandleader of Hanspeters Orchestra Big Band and the Hanspeter Jazz Trio. As a member of the "Böhmischer Musikanten" and the "Hessen Musikanten," he immersed himself in traditional brass band music. A major milestone in his career was joining "Ernst Mosch and His Original Egerland Musicians" as a flugelhornist and trumpeter.

Karl Hanspeter now teaches trumpet at various music schools in South Tyrol and leads workshops in Germany, Austria, and Italy.
