MESA/Boogie Badlander 25 Head Black Bronco - Returned Item (Condition: Very Good)

A New Rectifier Sound for a New Era!

The Badlander line grew out of the legendary Dual Rectifiers and the feedback of players who've used them for decades: "Tighter lows, refined highs and reduced mids with MESA gain that feels great and sounds huge." The Badlander 25 1x12 combo delivers that recipe in a compact enclosure and a power range that gives it a distinct, gritty character. For players devoted to rock who like a British influence with American gain, the 25's appeal is obvious — it produces many of those tones that explode through a cab yet also deliver a breathtaking performance even without a live speaker.

The Badlander 25 head delivers the Rectifier-inspired tone and serves as a fiery, portable low-power option for anyone who doesn't need large volume. The same straightforward 2-channel format that repeats the Clean, Crunch and Crush modes fits perfectly into this small EL84-powered platform, bringing its own ferocity and harmonic complexity.

The main features and options from the larger models remain intact; only the power section, transformers and chassis were revised. Sonically, it's hard to pick a favorite among the three models since each has its own character and use, but the 25 clearly wins on setup convenience and ease of transport.

Like all Badlanders, the Badlander 25 head includes the CabClone IR direct interface, which simplifies recording and wireless live capture. The same selection of Rectifier closed-back and Boogie open-back cabinet IRs from the standalone CabClone IR is included, offering a wide palette of tones and responses. For players who want tube tone and colossal gain through cabinets or direct, all in a chassis that fits in a travel bag, the Rectifier Badlander 25 is the top pick!
