Das + beim PSA1+ von Rode steht für ein innovatives Federsystem, welches eine präzise und butterweiche Positionierung erlaubt. Dank schallgedämmter Federn lässt sich der PSA1+ völlig geräuschlos bewegen. Zusätzlich wird gegebenenfalls von der Tischplatte kommender Körperschall durch integrierte Gummipuffer eliminiert. Der PSA1+ akzeptiert Mikrofone von 96 g bis 1200 g.
Die Gelenkarme sind mit einem Neoprenüberzug versehen, an dem sich je zwei Klemmen als Kabelführung befinden. Die horizontale Reichweite beträgt 94 cm. Befestigt wird der PSA1+ entweder mit einer robusten Schraubzwinge oder an einem formschönen Stecksockel, den man fest in eine Tischplatte einbauen kann. Der Stecksockel passt auch perfekt in Standard-Kabeldurchführungen (8 cm) von Schreibtischen. Schraubzwinge und Sockel sind im Lieferumfang enthalten.
