Mit dem Zubehörkoffer können zwei Kleinmembranmikrofone ganz einfach auf ein Mikrofonstativ montiert werden, um einen amtlichen Stereomix zu erhalten.

Wer hochwertige Recordings erstellen will, kommt um den Einsatz einer Mikrofonspinne kaum herum. Da Studiomikros auch auf tieffrequenten Trittschall sehr sensibel reagieren, werden diese Mikrofone mit Hilfe einer Spinne mechanisch vom Mikroständer entkoppelt. Neben den beiden Mikrofonspinnen befindet sich eine 30 cm lange Stereoschiene für eine genaue Justierung der Mikrofone. Zudem sind bereits zwei Aussparungen für Mikrofone (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten) vorhanden.
Einfache Bauweise mit großer Wirkung
Da die Halterungen für die Mikrofone komplett gummigelagert sind, dringen Vibrationen von Mikrofonständer kaum bis zur Mikrofonkapsel vor. Dadurch gelingen deutlich bessere Sprach- und Gesangsaufnahmen als mit einer herkömmlichen Mikrofonklemme. Ein kleiner Trick mit großen Auswirkungen.
Schnell montiert platzsparend
Die Stereoschiene wird auf ein Mikrofonstativ montiert, die beiden Spinnen je nach Aufnahmeart in einem bestimmtem Abstand und Winkel zueinander auf die Schiene positioniert. In den stabilen Rahmen befinden sich die elastisch gelagerten Mikrofonklemmen. Die Klemmen selber lassen sich mit zwei großen Bügeln öffnen, um die Mikrofone einzusetzen. Ein dünne Einlage aus Moosgummi schützt das Mikro vor versehentlichen Kratzern.

I ordered the set for my two Neumann KM184. The main reason for the purchase was that the mics in the original clamps were so tight that I was afraid to demolish them. The two microphone spiders are coated inside with foam rubber and are so super gentle on the mics. The actual effect they spiders should have, I can only minimally notice. Stepping noises on the floor or other vibrations can be heard due to the hard rubber bands in which the microphone is stretched anyway.
The stereo rail and the case are miserably processed. The spiders are great, but that's the point of the product.
To protect the mics and to intercept ground noise a little I would buy the SCM-1 set again and again.
