Our piano is against a wall, so when you sit at it in the evening/at night, your back "covers" the light sources in the room. Therefore, a lamp had to be purchased and we chose this model. The brightness and the illuminated area are super. The flexible neck of the lamp is also extremely practical. The cable is long enough. Easy to turn on and off and dim by knob. We are very satisfied. Something we find a pity that the white lamp has a dark rotary knob and a dark cable, but we already knew that at the time of purchase.
