The compact, battery-powered Roland CUBE Street is a best-seller among street musicians. With the new CUBE Street EX, the popular mobile amp gets an upgrade with more power, more channels and greater versatility. The stereo amplifier, delivering up to 50 watts and featuring a 2-way reproduction system (with separate bass and treble speakers), ensures a clear, punchy sound for larger audiences. Four independent channels provide plenty of connectivity for a variety of microphones and instruments.

EQ and effects help you shape the tone precisely. Great guitar sounds are guaranteed with the built-in COSM amp models. Switchable power levels allow up to 20 hours of runtime with 8 AA batteries. And if you need more: two CUBE Street EX units can be linked via Stereo Link to form a compact PA. Via i-CUBE LINK you can connect your iPhone or iPad to play back tracks or record your performance!

Equipped with 2 x 50 watt stereo power, two 8" speakers and two 2" tweeters, the compact CUBE Street EX effortlessly delivers a clear, dynamic sound for live performances. Thanks to Roland's unique, new power system, the CUBE Street EX can achieve a sound quality unmatched among battery-powered amps. The output power can be set to three different levels: Max (50 W), Normal (25 W) and Eco (10 W). This lets you conserve batteries when full power isn't needed. In Eco mode, 8 AA Ni-MH batteries can last up to an incredible 20 hours! When mains power is available, the CUBE Street EX can of course be operated with the supplied AC adapter.

Versatile connectivity for any set-up
The CUBE Street EX features an onboard mixer with four independent channels, offering connections for almost any type of live performance. Microphone/Instrument and Microphone/Guitar channels come with XLR/phone-jack combo connectors for miking or devices with line outputs. Each channel has its own 3-band EQ and a reverb effect for individual tone shaping. The mono/stereo line-in channel is fitted with 6.3 mm phone jacks; the audio-in channel has a stereo mini-jack that also supports i-CUBE LINK. If all channels are in use, you can add an extra mono device via the AUX-in.

The AC preamp is optimized for acoustic and electric guitars. The built-in tuner is also very user-friendly. Chorus/delay effects can be switched on/off via a separate footswitch.

Jam and record with i-CUBE LINK and CUBE JAM
Roland's innovative i-CUBE LINK interface integrates your CUBE Street EX with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Connect the supplied cable with the audio connector and you get a bi-directional link to your favorite music apps via i-CUBE LINK. Roland's free CUBE JAM app is a perfect tool to play along with your favorite iTunes songs. You can record the CUBE Street EX output directly with CUBE JAM. CUBE JAM includes many practical features for practicing, jamming and live performance, such as independent pitch/speed control and center-cancel for playback tracks and karaoke.

Stand flange and sound expansion
Placed flat on the floor, the CUBE Street EX sits slightly tilted, offering excellent monitor sound – on the street and on stage. If you need a wider sound coverage for a larger audience, the amp can be mounted on the optional ST-A95 speaker stand. With the handy Stereo Link function and two CUBE Street EX units you get a powerful stereo PA system with a total of eight separate inputs.

Lightweight and rugged
Like all amps in Roland's renewed CUBE series, the CUBE Street EX is extremely rugged. The durable housing, made by injection molding (ABS resin), has been optimized through countless durability tests for reliable outdoor use. But the CUBE Street EX isn't just tough; it's also surprisingly light, making it easy to transport from gig to gig. The optional CB-CS2 carrying case features a comfortable shoulder strap and accessory pockets. It is water-resistant and protects the amp from moisture while on the move.
