The Klowra Dive Polyphonic Pitch Shifter Pedal combines fast polyphonic pitch-shifting, two directly recallable drop-tune presets and a highly adjustable glide function in a compact guitar effect pedal. The specially developed tracking algorithm delivers drop-tuning down to -7 semitones with a latency of only approx. 8 ms, giving you an immediate, precise feel even for fast riffs, solos and complex chords. With a pitch range from one semitone to three octaves down, the Dive works both as a flexible drop-tune pedal for modern guitar setups and for dramatic sub-octave, whammy and dive-bomb effects.

Two Drop-Tune Presets for Quick Switching

The two settings DROP A and DROP B let you preselect two different pitch intervals and switch directly between them. That lets you use different tunings within a song or switch between low tunings without retuning the guitar or swapping instruments. Especially in modern metal, rock and progressive productions, this enables fast, flexible performance. The MIX control sets the balance between the unprocessed dry signal and the transposed wet signal. In the Unison setting, with the right mix you can also produce a chorus-like detune sound.

Glide Attack and Release for Controlled Pitch Glides

The integrated glide engine makes the Dive much more than a standard drop-tuning pedal. Glide Attack controls the speed at which the pitch changes when the effect is activated or switched; Glide Release controls how the pitch returns. That allows both smooth glissando effects and abrupt, dramatic pitch drops. Combined with the various switching modes, you get expressive whammy and dive-bomb sounds without an additional expression pedal or mechanical tremolo system.

Tight and Sub for Different Tonal Characters

Two independent pitch algorithms tailor the processing character to different applications. Tight is optimized for guitar, preserving definition, pick attack and note separation so even heavily down-tuned riffs remain transparent and precise. The Sub mode focuses on low-frequency applications and creates a thicker, bass-oriented character up to synth-like sub-octave textures. In this way the Klowra Dive covers both transparent down-tuning and intentionally extreme low-end sounds.

Momentary, Latch and A/B for Live Performance

The flexible switching logic opens up various options for stage and studio. In Latch mode you switch between DROP A and DROP B. A/B mode lets an external footswitch activate or deactivate the effect. In Momentary mode you temporarily switch between the two pitch settings while the switch is held. This makes the Dive usable as both a permanently active drop tuner and a creative performance pitch shifter for short pitch drops and rhythmic effects.

WildSeed DSP and High-Quality Audio Conversion

Inside, Klowra’s WildSeed engine runs on 32-bit floating-point DSP with 24-bit AD/DA conversion at a 44.1 kHz sample rate. The powerful digital signal processing is designed for high precision and a clear, dynamic sound. The bypass can be switched between True Bypass and Buffered Bypass so you can adapt the pedal to your pedalboard and signal chain length. Soft-touch relay switching supports quiet operation during live switching.

External Control and Firmware Updates

You can connect an external momentary footswitch via the 3.5 mm mono jack; its function depends on the selected switch mode, allowing central functions to be controlled from an extended pedalboard setup. The USB-C port is used to install firmware updates and update the digital platform.
