Legendary Pitch-Shifting Effect for Bass!

The next generation of the Bass Whammy uses the most advanced pitch detection and polyphonic note tracking technology to create the world’s best pitch-shifting effect pedal optimized for bass.

The Bass Whammy retains the classic settings of the original while offering many modern improvements. With two different tracking modes, Classic and Chord, the Bass Whammy gives players the option to replicate the original’s shift-glitch effects or achieve a smooth pitch-shift effect.

The Chord mode uses advanced polyphonic tracking algorithms for a more precise and smoother pitch-shift effect, while the Classic mode preserves the tracking artifacts of the original Whammy. The Bass Whammy is true bypass, MIDI controllable, and uses a 9V DC power supply for easy integration into your existing pedalboard.

Expression Pedal

This pedal lets you control the amount of pitch change for the selected Harmony, Whammy, or Detune effect. Moving it forward (toe down) raises the pitch, while moving it backward (toe up) lowers the pitch.

Harmony LEDs

One of these LEDs lights up when a Harmony effect is selected. Harmony effects add a dry signal to the effect signal.

Classic/Chords Switch

This switch toggles between the classic Whammy algorithm (Classic) and the modern chord algorithm (Chords). The Classic setting is ideal for playing single notes, while the Chords setting works best for bending entire chords.

Selector Wheel

This knob lets you select one of the Whammy, Harmony, or Detune effects.

Whammy LEDs

One of these LEDs lights up when a Whammy effect is selected. Whammy effects do not add a dry signal to the effect signal.

Detune LEDs

One of these LEDs lights up when a Detune effect is selected. The expression pedal controls the amount of detune signal mixed with the dry signal.
