The Darkglass Microtubes B7K Ultra v2 is the uncompromising command center for your bass tone. With an individually loadable impulse response for cabinet simulation, direct connection to the Darkglass Suite via USB, and a headphone output with cab sim, this pedal is a tool for every application - from silent practice to professional recording.
Tone Controls & Drive
The heart of the B7K Ultra v2 is its advanced tone control. The Blend knob lets you blend seamlessly between clean and overdrive. Drive and Level let you precisely control the saturation and volume of the distortion signal. The parametric 4-band EQ with switchable mid frequencies and ±12 dB range gives you precise command over your sound. The Attack and Grunt switches provide further shaping in the treble and bass regions.
Connections & Flexibility
Thanks to the aux-in you can conveniently practice with backing tracks - the level is controlled at the source. The headphone output (3.5 mm) provides cab sim for authentic monitoring. The balanced XLR output with ground lift and switchable cab sim feeds directly into a mixer or interface - ideal for stage and studio. Connection to the Darkglass Suite is via Micro-USB-B to load IRs and adjust other settings.
Build & Handling
With dimensions of 125 x 96 x 57 mm and a weight of 430 g, the pedal is robust, compact and stage-ready. Build quality is professional, and all knobs and switches are clearly defined and ergonomically placed.

- Attack: Controls the amount of treble to be saturated. The 'Boost' setting emphasizes the highs for extra clarity and presence. The 'Flat' position leaves this range unchanged, while the 'Cut' position reduces the amount of high-frequency saturation.
- Grunt: Determines how strongly the low frequencies are saturated by selecting between three different bass-boost stages before the clipping stage.

- Lo Mids: ±12 dB, switchable between 250 Hz, 500 Hz and 1 kHz
- Hi Mids: ±12 dB, switchable between 750 Hz, 1.5 kHz and 3 kHz
