Maximum Sound Variety for Your Bass!
The Kaamos was developed with legendary bassist and producer Amos Heller and combines a thick distortion with octave tones.
With the real-time routing knobs you can shape your signal path easily - stack effects in series for massive saturation or run them in parallel to create complex, layered textures. A flexible effects loop that can be configured in three different positions opens up new possibilities, while a dedicated sub-octave output enables creative multi-amp setups.
Modes
The octaver and distortion effect blocks can be configured either in series or in parallel by pressing the [octave level] knob. The LEDs above the knob indicate which mode is selected.
The position of the effects loop can be set to three different places in the signal chain:
- After the octaver
- After the distortion
- Parallel to the signal chain
The position is selected by pressing the Blend knob, and the LEDs above the knob show the chosen position.
- In the first position the loop is active when the octaver is engaged.
- In the second position the loop is active when the distortion is engaged.
- In the third position the loop is active when either the octaver or the distortion — or both — are engaged.
The effects loop automatically detects when nothing is connected and removes itself from the signal chain.
