The Fender The Bends V2 Compressor pairs a versatile analog compressor with an independently switchable clean boost. The pedal works equally well for guitar and bass, delivering a balanced tone, extended sustain and pleasantly rich tones without unnecessarily restricting the natural dynamics of your playing.

Compression That Responds to Your Playing

The low-noise compression circuit reacts dynamically to the input signal. The three-position attack switch lets you set how quickly the compressor intervenes, while release and input further shape the response. Use the blend control to mix the dry signal back in and find the desired balance between even levels and a natural playing feel. The active tone control also allows precise adjustment of the highs.

Modern or Pleasantly Vintage

The rear Vintage switch significantly alters the compression character: instead of a precise, direct response you get softer compression with a touch of natural saturation. This lets the Bends V2 cover both transparent modern sounds and warmer vintage tonal colors.

Clean Boost Exactly in the Right Place

The independently switchable Ultra-Clean Boost can operate either before or after the compressor. Placed before compression it produces especially long sustain; placed after the compressor it serves as a clean level boost, for example for solos. True and buffered bypass, as well as switchable momentary and latching footswitch modes, add extra flexibility to the pedal.
