Bring Your Sound to Life with the Fundamental Phaser from Walrus Audio!

The Fundamental Phaser is a versatile digital emulation of a classic phaser with the tonal integrity to hold its own on a pro pedalboard, yet with simplified controls that make it accessible for the newest effect pedal users. Featuring 3 distinct phaser algorithms, you can craft sounds ranging from subtle tonal modulation to a heavily modulated, resonant phaser.

For the Fundamental series, we took on the challenge of creating a line of pedals that deliver the tonal integrity required for a professional pedalboard, but with streamlined controls that are user-friendly even for the latest effect pedal players. Each Fundamental pedal features three sliders for tone shaping and a three-way switch to toggle pedal modes. The result is a lineup of pedals that will accompany you from your first band rehearsal to a sold-out arena. Designed and built at Walrus Audio headquarters in OKC, OK.

Your Creativity Knows No Bounds

The Fundamental Phaser is a versatile digital emulation of a classic phaser. With three different phaser algorithms, you can produce sounds from light tonal modulation to a heavily modulated and resonant phaser.

Rate

Controls the speed of the modulated LFO. A higher rate creates a faster and more pronounced pitch modulation, while a lower rate produces a slower, subtler effect.

Feedback

Controls the amount of affected signal fed back into the feedback loop; more feedback results in greater resonance.

Depth

Controls the depth of the modulated LFO. This affects the intensity of the pitch modulation applied to the affected signal.

Toggle Switch

The toggle switch lets you choose between three different pedal variants:

  • Light: A stripped-down phaser that gently modulates your signal.
  • Medium: Emulates a classic warm analog phaser.
  • Heavy: Multi-voice phaser with many experimental sounds.
