If you need to go straight into the venue’s PA, the lightweight and portable B2 FOUR is the perfect choice. It offers six DI emulations that replicate the sound of iconic DI boxes:

• Tube 1 for powerful overtones and a mighty bass range.
• Tube 2 for a clean attack with punchy bass.
• Tube 3 for a clean and bright sound.
• Solid State 1 for subtle compression and assertive tones.
• Solid State 2 for a clean sound with mild distortion.
• Solid State 3 for emphasized mids and dampened highs to replicate the Motown sound.

Comprehensive Amp and Speaker Models

Each amp model is based on Zoom’s innovative Multi-Layer IRs, which capture the tonal characteristics and playing feel of classic amps and speaker cabinets. The impulse responses were recorded at three volume levels through legendary cabinets and activate depending on your bass guitar’s volume.

Historic Bass Sounds

The patch selection with 250 presets gives bassists the chance to recreate sounds from popular songs spanning the 1950s to today.

Navigation and Creativity

The four endless knobs allow quick adjustment of effect parameters and output settings. The cross-arranged navigation buttons make controlling the pedal effortless.

Loop and Groove

Jam and rehearse with the B2 FOUR. The internal 60-second looper lets you create your own grooves, while the 68 beats from the built-in rhythm machine provide perfect accompaniment for practice.

Input and Output Options

A balanced output serves for direct connection to a PA or interface, while the stereo outputs can drive an amplifier. The instrument input features a switch to toggle impedance between 1 and 10 megaohms, which ensures a cleaner sound for upright basses with piezo pickups.

Audio Interface

When used as an audio interface with two inputs and outputs, you can connect the B2 FOUR to a computer or smartphone and record with your favorite effect and amp emulations.
