Intuitive User Experience And Refined Design
The DDJ-GRV6 packs many advanced features, but its matte-black surface and ergonomic layout make it easy to navigate. Despite the wealth of functions, the minimalist display and indicators offer intuitive access to the tools you need.
The Groove Circuit, one of the unit’s standout features, sits above the performance pads with a "Step Up" in between so you won’t accidentally touch a jogwheel during use. The sleek design lets you get creative and shape your performances as simply or as elaborate as you want.
By applying effects to the drum parts you can easily craft fills, build-ups and breakdowns. The free manipulation of drum parts enables you to create innovative, creative live remixes.

Drum Swap
You can replace the drum parts of the track loaded on the deck with other drum loops at the press of a button, even during playback. To get you started, a free pack of 40 loops is available for download.
Drum Roll / Trans
Create spontaneous drum rolls, add fills to transitions and build tracks by applying the Roll or Trans effect to drum parts.
Drum Release
Apply Release FX to drum parts to craft breakdowns with ease.
Capture
Extract only the drum parts from the track loaded on the deck and record them so you can insert them into another track later.
Jogwheels & Performance Pads
The DDJ-GRV6 features large jogwheels ideal for scratching, 8 performance pads positioned above the jogs — just like the flagship CDJ-3000 multi-player — and Beat FX from the DJM-A9 in the mixer section.
That gives you the feel of club-standard equipment, so you can perform dynamically by combining expressive scratching with pad and effect techniques that are perfect for club sets.
Smart Rotary Selector & Discover Function
The new Smart Rotary Selector on the DDJ-GRV6 offers joystick-like control with up/down and left/right motions as well as conventional turn-and-press control when using rekordbox for Mac/Windows Version 7.
The left/right motion enables intuitive navigation through the media browser, Tree View and the track list, while the up/down motion lets you quickly scroll through playlists and collections so you can find the track you want fast, no matter how large your library is.
Pressing the Discover button gives you quick access to the track-suggestions feature, helping you rediscover old favorites or find new songs. (The Discover feature is available in rekordbox for Mac/Windows.)
Remix Performances With Stems FX In Serato DJ Pro
The DDJ-GRV6 is compatible with Serato DJ Pro, which includes a Stems FX function. Let your music speak by applying effects like Roll, Trans, Echo Out and Delay to individual stems of a track — drums, bass, vocals or melody.
Use the overlay sheet provided with the DDJ-GRV6 to change the button labels for Stems FX and make operation easier.

You can use the DDJ-GRV6 not only with rekordbox for Mac/Windows but also with rekordbox for iOS/Android. With the “Play Via Mobile Device” option you’re free to perform in your preferred style across a wide range of environments.
