Classic Hybrid Integrated Amplifier from Advance Paris!

Vacuum tubes are used in the preamplifier section of the Advance Paris A10 to emphasize the audiophile character of this unit. No tubes are used in the power amp stage, as Advance Paris focuses on delivering sufficient power, dynamics and reliability. The Advance Paris A10 Classic delivers 2 x 130 W (8 Ohm), 2 x 190 W (4 Ohm) or 2 x 250 W (2.66 Ohm).

A special feature of Advance Paris is the HIGH BIAS circuit, which allows the amplifier to operate as a Class-A amp at lower power levels (up to around 10 percent of total power), more than adequate for normal use. When more power is required, the amplifier switches silently to Class AB.

Audiophiles appreciate the subtle musical presentation in Class-A mode. HIGH BIAS can be turned on and off at the rear, so the user can decide which setting, combined with the connected speakers, provides the best listening experience.

Modern Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC)

In the world of high-end audio equipment, an excellent DAC is essential for top performance. Advance Paris has been a pioneer in DAC integration and continues that tradition. The A10 Classic uses a DAC board based on the Sabre ESS9018 DAC chip (32-bit/768kHz).

With its asynchronous USB-B input equipped with the latest XMOS chip (xCore 200-XU208-256-TQ64), it offers the ability to play hi-res music files, including DSD84, DSD128 and DSD256, both in native DSD and DSD-over-PCM (DoP) modes.

Versatile Connectivity

A wide range of connections is available, both analog and digital. In addition to USB-A, USB-B, HDMI-ARC (for volume control via the TV remote) and HDMI audio for video sources, the HDMI audio input can be used with Blu-ray players that have a separate HDMI audio output. This input can also extract the audio from an HDMI signal (e.g., from a game console), convert it to an analog signal and feed it through the internal DAC to the amplifier.

For analog sources there are 7 AUX inputs available, and vinyl lovers get an extensive phono input for MM cartridges with selectable input capacitances of 100, 200 or 300 pF.

Effortless Operation

The Advance Paris A10 features Advance's well-known, very user-friendly single-knob controls. With this intuitive control you can easily adjust volume, select inputs (source), control bass and treble (with Bypass option), set balance and access the setup settings.

To save energy, the amplifier automatically switches to standby if no input signal is detected for 30 minutes, as required by EU regulations. This function can, however, be disabled in the setup menu.
