The spruce top provides a clear, direct fundamental tone, while Okoume for the body and neck delivers a warm, balanced sound. The Grand Concert body shape is slightly more compact than a jumbo model and therefore offers particularly comfortable handling - ideal for smaller players and beginners. Despite the more compact size the body produces a present, defined bass foundation with a pleasant response. The cutaway also lets you access the upper frets effortlessly, making melodic lines and solo passages easier.
