The Pronomic CC-88 Multi Cable Tester lets you check the most common cable connections for audio electronics devices, such as XLR (3-pin), SPK (Speakon 4- and 8-pin), MIDI, jack (6.35 mm/3.5 mm and stereo/mono), digital RJ45, S-Video, phono (RCA) and more. An LED display visually indicates whether there is a correct signal flow or a faulty connection.
Automatic or Manual Test
The CC-88 offers both an automated and an optional manual operating mode. In manual mode ("On"), you jump from one connection to the next using the right/left buttons. When the automatic mode ("Auto") is active, the Pronomic cable tester scans the individual connections automatically in sequence. This means the tester advances after one second without needing to press any buttons.
Easy to Use
Simply plug each end of the cable into the respective input and output so the signal can be sent across all poles of the cable. The cable to be tested can of course have two different connector types. The colored LEDs show the signal strength and connected poles. In case of a faulty connection, e.g. short circuits, the LEDs remain dark.
Compact and Portable
Thanks to its compact design in a robust metal housing and the practical carry handle on top, the Pronomic CC-88 Multi Cable Tester is perfect for use both in the studio and on the road. The device is powered by two AA batteries via an easily accessible battery compartment on the underside of the CC-88.
