Rolf Tönnes is interested in various music genres such as rock, blues, Brazilian music, flamenco, and especially jazz. His strong interest in South America led him to Brazil, where he lived for two years and played with local musicians. Today, he works as an author for Schott Music.

This revised edition, with a new layout and audio tracks in convenient mp3 format instead of CD, has been significantly expanded—new pieces make learning guitar even more fun and rewarding.
