About the Author
Daniel Giordani is a percussionist, handpan player, rhythm educator, and author of several rhythm books. Together with his partner, he runs the "Rhythmotop - Institute for Rhythm Experiences" in the Austrian Waldviertel. Born in 1977 in Bolzano/South Tyrol, he studied cultural and social anthropology at the University of Vienna with a focus on music ethnology. Numerous research and study trips to West Africa, India, and Central America gave him insight into many percussion music styles. In recent years, the handpan has increasingly become his main instrument. For many years, he has been a member of various bands and music projects and conducts workshops and advanced training seminars for children, youth, adults, and educators.
