Das liegt an ihrem Innenleben: Der überwickelte Single-Coil erzeugt den speziellen Texas Blues. Texas Specials sind kalibrierte Stratocaster Tonabnehmer im Vintage-Style mit Alnico 5 Magneten und emaillierten Spulendrähten. Der Pickup in der Mittelposition ist umgekehrt gewickelt sowie umgekehrt gepolt, sodass das Brummen in den Positionen 2 & 4 verhindert wird.
