The P-225 offers 24 tones. In addition to several grand piano sounds, including Yamaha’s premium CFX concert grand, you can choose from a wide selection of highly useful tones for keyboard players, including Stage E.Piano, DX E.Piano, Jazz Organ, Strings, and more. The P-225 also includes E.Clavichord and Vibraphone sounds.

Thanks to the Stereophonic Optimizer, the sampled sounds of the acoustic piano seem to come directly from the instrument’s body. This provides a pleasant, natural sound experience and eliminates all unwanted headphone effects.
Convenient Access to Instrument Functions via the App
When you connect the P-225 to the Yamaha Smart Pianist app, you can intuitively operate all functions via your smart device’s screen. There’s no need to flip through the manual to see how various operations work.

The position and angle of the P-225’s speakers are placed to replicate as precisely as possible the sound reflected from the soundboard and lid of an acoustic grand piano.
