Selmer Signature: The Renewal of the Super Action 80 Series II!
The Selmer Signature alto saxophone embodies the renewal of the Super Action 80 Series II, which has significantly shaped saxophone history since its introduction in 1986.
While preserving the tonal characteristics of the Series II, it offers improved intonation, especially in the upper register, and enhances emission in the lower register through a newly designed bore of the neck.
The model benefits from the latest innovations of the Henri Selmer Paris saxophone: a novel 3-point concentric neck receiver with a nickel silver clamp ring for better tonal homogeneity and density, as well as an octave mechanism mounted on Teflon.
The body and bell feature an Art Déco-style engraving as a tribute to centuries-old instrument-making techniques passed down through generations at the Selmer factory in Mantes-la-Ville.
