2x 100 W Output Power and High-Quality Signal Processing

The A-S201 offers a high drive power of 2x 100 watts, exceeding its class, along with a design focused on sound quality that minimizes signal path length and optimizes circuit layout. Positioning the power transformer close to the power amplifier circuit reduces power loss and simultaneously improves the power supply’s peak capacity to enable high volume levels. The signal ground and power supply ground are connected at a single point, preventing mutual interference and achieving a higher S/N ratio. The result is sound full of clarity and a sense of openness.

Pure Direct Mode for Unadulterated, Pure Sound

When the Pure Direct mode is activated, the signal bypasses the circuits for bass and treble control, balance, and amplifier buffer. This improves sound quality without affecting maximum output power. Shortening the signal path enhances acoustic purity and allows reproduction of even the finest musical nuances.

Clear and Thoughtful Design

The A-S201 features a phono input for connecting a turntable. With a total of five audio inputs, it can serve as the centerpiece of a HiFi system. Its large screw terminals for speakers ensure a secure connection even for thick cable plugs.

Power-Saving Mode

The power-saving mode automatically switches off the power supply (and switches to standby mode) if the amplifier has not been used for an extended period. It can be activated after 2, 4, 8, or 12 hours. Power consumption in standby mode is only 0.5 W.
