The Dayton Audio TT25-16 PUCK is a compact mini bass shaker for home theater, gaming, and car audio. With 15 Watt RMS, a maximum power handling of 30 Watt and an impedance of 8 Ohm, it transfers low-frequency audio signals directly to seats, sofas, or suitable vehicle surfaces. This makes explosions, engine noises, music bass, and game effects not only audible but physically tangible.

Tactile Vibration Instead of Unnecessary Volume

The TT25-16 PUCK doesn't create conventional sound like a normal speaker. Instead, the bass shaker sets the mounting surface into vibration and delivers low frequencies directly to the user. Mounted under a gaming chair, cinema seat, or sofa, it produces an intense, realistic bass experience. Because low frequencies are felt directly, the overall playback volume can be reduced without sacrificing a convincing low-end impact.

Tuned for Low-Frequency Effects

The frequency range of 20 to 80 Hz is ideal for deep sound effects, sub-bass, and low-frequency effects in movies, games, and music. The resonance frequency is 40 Hz. With a DC resistance of 7.7 Ohm and a voice-coil inductance of 1.30 mH at 1000 Hz, the passive tactile transducer offers clearly defined technical characteristics for targeted integration into suitable audio systems.

Robust Voice-Coil Construction

Inside, a four-layer voice coil runs on a sturdy 1" aluminum former. This construction combines a compact form factor with reliable power handling. The Dayton Audio PUCK is a cost-effective solution for single seating positions as well as installations with multiple tactile transducers. A configuration of four PUCKs specifies a total peak force of 30 lbs./ft.

Compact and Discreet to Mount

With a diameter of just 3.5" and a height of 1", the TT25-16 is almost the size of a hockey puck. That allows the mini bass shaker to be installed in tight or concealed positions. For installation, a cutout of 70 mm with a 25 mm wide slot for cable routing is required.
