Inside it uses a real 3-spring reverb tank that is driven analog, not digitally simulated. The special power-amp driver moves the springs dynamically and delivers the characteristic splash, drip and decay of a classic spring reverb. The analog tube power-stage and output-transformer saturation emulation enhances the natural vintage character, especially at higher Dwell settings.

Precise Reverb Control

The reverb section features four dedicated controls: Dwell, Tone, Mix and Volume. Dwell controls how much signal is sent into the reverb tank, affecting drip, tonal color and decay behavior. Tone adjusts the presence and brightness of the reverb effect, while Mix blends the wet signal with the dry. The separate Volume control allows precise level matching or a musical boost.

Amp-Style Tremolo With Vintage Movement

The White Whale Junior's tremolo is modeled on classic optical and bias-tremolo circuits from vintage amps. The Power-Up Bypass Preset function remembers your preferred start state at power-up, making stage use especially convenient. Top-mounted jacks save space on the pedalboard and simplify neat cabling.
