These finely crafted cajones from XDrum's "Peruana" series with a 9 mm birch body and snare effect deliver (besides their impressive design) sounds at the highest level.

Size And Construction

The smaller-sized cajon consists of a 7-ply birch body with a 9 mm thickness. The neatly glued parts reveal a beautiful grain, and rounded corners and edges make a very positive visual and tactile impression. The Peruana design on the front plate underlines the connection to the South American birthplace of the instrument. With a seating surface of approx. 31 x 30 cm and a height of approx. 37 cm, the cajon offers excellent seating and playing comfort especially for children and smaller players. Defying physics, this "little one" produces an incredible bass and clean snare sounds.

Adjustable Snare Effect And Clap Corners

On the inside of the front plate a total of 4 bronze-wound strings create the characteristic snare sound of these box drums. To tailor the intensity of the effect to personal taste, the string tension can be adjusted with the supplied internal hex key. The key itself is stored inside the box so it never gets lost. Because the front plate is completely screwed on, the Clap Corners can be dosed very precisely with a screwdriver, allowing for an incredible fullness of sound.

Included Bag

Included is a bag made of durable nylon material whose 1 cm thick padding protects your cajon optimally. A 37 x 19 cm outer pocket provides plenty of space for sheet music, small shakers and other accessories. In addition to the classic carry handle on top, this gigbag even offers a shoulder strap. So you can take your cajon by bike, scooter or on foot to where you want to lay down the groove!
