High-Quality All-Weather Sound for the Garden!

Whether on the terrace while relaxing, in hotel and restaurant areas, in amusement parks and on playgrounds, at the next garden party or other outdoor events and activities: with the new Pronomic HLS-560 360° speaker, nothing stands in the way of enjoying music outdoors. Anyone who places high value on clean sound reproduction, even sound dispersion, a weatherproof enclosure and plenty of power will not be disappointed by the HLS-560 garden speaker. The compact outdoor box delivers excellent sound coverage in both sun and rain.

Great Sound

The robust and long-lasting HLS-560 2-way speaker delivers 240 Watt (peak) of power—enough volume to provide solid musical coverage and plenty of good vibes. A 5.25\" (133 mm) polypropylene cone woofer and a 0.75\" (19 mm) titanium dome tweeter provide excellent, balanced signal resolution with very clean, precise and clear sound. To allow connection to all common hi-fi devices, the 360° box includes a built-in cable.

360° Sound Dispersion

The Pronomic HLS-560 features a first-rate, precisely engineered sound diffuser that ensures even all-around sound dispersion (360° horizontal, 40° vertical) with a balanced tonal character. A single speaker is therefore sufficient to evenly cover larger areas such as a garden including the terrace. This gives the HLS-560 clear advantages over conventional speakers that are tied to a fixed dispersion angle.

Weatherproof Enclosure and Versatile Mounting Options

The robust, weatherproof plastic housing of the compact Pronomic speaker box makes it a durable and reliable companion. A sturdy aluminum grille protects the driver from impact. The HLS-560 can be installed standing—e.g. in the middle of a beer garden—or suspended above a sun terrace. When used as a free-standing unit you can sink the speaker's base into the ground. Not only does this look neat, it also increases stability in high winds. For hanging installation, two 3/8\" threads on the bottom of the unit allow the speaker to be secured to high ceilings with eye bolts.

Water- and UV-Resistant

The UV-resistant, waterproof garden speaker can be used not only under blue skies and in dry conditions, but also at the pool and in the rain. The IP56 rating indicates the HLS-560’s suitability for outdoor use. The so-called IP code (International Protection Code) describes how a device copes with temperatures, humidity, vapors, dust and other conditions. IP56 means the HLS-560 is protected against strong water jets and that the enclosure also offers full protection against contact. In addition, dust—even in amounts that would normally be harmful—cannot damage this unit.

70/100V Option

The HLS-560 outdoor box can be connected to all conventional hi-fi and PA amplifiers with 8 Ohm impedance; additionally it can be operated on 100-volt systems. The required power taps (2, 4, 8, 16, 32 Watt) are set via a rotary selector.
