This motto also applies to the new edition of Michael Christoph's piano school. Anyone who is afraid that piano is too difficult of an instrument to learn, definitely needs this school.
In a playful, relaxed way, the novice is introduced to the instrument and explained. Starting with well-known, simple melodies up to the two-handed playing of complete songs, some theory knowledge is also taught along the way. The reading of notes, rhythm, dynamics and much more is taught along with the exercises. In addition, the simple exercises guarantee a quick learning success.
About the author
Michael Christoph (born on April 2nd 1964 in Munich as Michael Schwager) is a drummer, singer, guitarist, songwriter and book author as well as a passionate music teacher.
During his first attempts at a toy piano, he already showed his great musical talent at the age of six, initially by playing all the children's songs he knew. He got his first guitar at the age of ten and his first drum kit at 15. In 1994 he began his training as a professional drummer at the "Drummer's Focus". He was able to complete the teaching course after only two years of training. From 1998 on he was a part of the renowned Drummer's Focus teacher team in Munich for 15 years. This was followed by various artist appearances and jobs as a cover musician with tours that took Michael Christoph to England, the USA, Mexico, Japan and various European countries.
In addition to his activities as a composer, live and studio musician, the multi-instrumentalist also works as a private music teacher in Wolfratshausen, Eurasburg, Erding and Munich and is the author of various textbooks for drums, piano, guitar, electric guitar etc..
This makes learning the piano a lot of fun!
