Pirastro Tonica - The Modern Nylon String!
Pirastro has made the quality of its strings and rosin a byword for reliability and beautiful sound. A large number of classical string musicians prefer Pirastro strings for their modulation capability and expressive power, enabling them to realize individual tonal ideas and fully bring out the special sound characteristics of their own instrument.
Pirastro Tonica Nylon Strings
The sound of the new Tonica strings with nylon core is very lively, full, and round. The tone is open and direct. While maintaining a warm fundamental tone, the strings’ carrying power and brilliance have been enhanced, all with very easy response.
The significant expansion of the dynamic range, both at very soft and extremely powerful playing, is remarkable. Added to this are smooth tonal transitions and clear articulation. The nylon strings are moisture-resistant.
