Martin D-12E Retro Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar!
The D-12E Retro combines spruce, sapele and arched bracing for powerful projection and strong bass in a glossy dreadnought body. Vintage-inspired Style 18 details make it your path to tone, power and lasting performance.
The Martin D-12E Retro packs everything players love about a dreadnought—power, bass and projection—into a vintage-inspired design. Its high-gloss finish highlights the beauty of its solid spruce top and solid sapele back and sides, making it a bold yet refined instrument that makes a statement sonically and visually.
Spruce provides the characteristic articulation and versatility, while sapele adds warm mids and punch to balance the guitar's strong low end. The arched X-bracing energizes the top and ensures the guitar responds well whether you strum hard, flatpick or play with a light touch. The result is a full, powerful and adaptable dreadnought tone.
