Epiphone J-45 Studio Acoustic Guitar in Vintage Sunburst Including Gigbag!

The Epiphone J-45 Studio is part of the brand-new Epiphone Studio Acoustic Collection. These guitars were completely redesigned to offer the most authentic and affordable acoustics inspired by the legendary Gibson designs. The J-45 Studio blends vintage charm with modern craftsmanship and is built to deliver an expressive, resonant tone that’s perfect for blues and folk enthusiasts.

Based on the classic Gibson J-45 "The Workhorse", the J-45 Studio features a slope-shouldered body and a 24.75-inch scale length, just like the Gibson model that inspired it. The J-45 Studio delivers a warm, full-bodied tone with exceptional clarity, making it ideal for a wide range of musical styles. It sports a multi-ply mahogany body with a solid spruce top for a responsive, balanced sound with excellent dynamic range that improves with age.

The mahogany neck is glued in with a tapered dovetail joint to the body and features a Rounded "C" profile for comfortable playability. The neck is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard with 20 standard frets and simple pearloid dot inlays. The strings are guided over a compensated plastic saddle and anchored with ivory-colored bridge pins on the belly-up rosewood bridge.

Epiphone has also added details that give the J-45 Studio an even stronger vintage look, including a teardrop-shaped dark tortoiseshell pickguard, three-on-a-plate tuners with ivory-colored plastic buttons, and a 60s Kalamazoo-style headstock with the Epiphone logo proudly screen-printed in gold.

The J-45 Studio comes equipped with Fishman electronics, including an S-Core under-saddle pickup and a Fishman Presys VT preamp with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls that are quick and easy for the player to access while remaining virtually invisible to the audience. The Epiphone J-45 Studio sports a gloss finish and is available in two vintage-inspired colors: Natural and Vintage Sunburst. Right- and left-handed versions are available. A standard gigbag is also included.
