Epiphone J-45 Studio Acoustic Guitar in Natural Including Gigbag!

The Epiphone J-45 Studio is part of the brand-new Epiphone Studio Acoustic Collection. These guitars were completely reimagined to deliver the most authentic and affordable acoustics inspired by the legendary Gibson designs. The J-45 Studio blends vintage charm with modern craftsmanship and is engineered to produce a responsive, resonant voice ideal for blues and folk players.

Based on the classic Gibson J-45 “The Workhorse,” the J-45 Studio features a slope-shoulder body and a 24.75" scale, just like the Gibson model that inspired it. The J-45 Studio produces a warm, full tone with exceptional clarity, making it versatile across musical styles. It has a multi-ply mahogany body with a solid spruce top for a responsive, balanced sound with excellent dynamic range that improves with age.

The mahogany neck is glued in with a dovetail joint and sports a Rounded C profile for comfortable playability. The neck is fitted with a rosewood fretboard with 20 standard frets and simple pearloid dot inlays. The strings sit on a compensated plastic saddle and are anchored by ivory-colored bridge pins on a belly-up rosewood bridge.

Epiphone also added details that give the J-45 Studio an intensified vintage look, including a teardrop dark tortoiseshell pickguard, three-on-a-plate tuners with ivory plastic buttons, and a 60s Kalamazoo-style headstock with the Epiphone logo proudly screen-printed in gold.

The J-45 Studio is equipped with Fishman electronics, including an S-Core under-saddle pickup and a Fishman Presys VT preamp with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls that are quick and easy for the player to access while remaining virtually invisible to the audience. The Epiphone J-45 Studio sports a gloss finish and is available in two vintage-inspired colors: Natural and Vintage Sunburst. Right- and left-handed versions are available. A standard gigbag is also included.
