Multitouch Display
With its huge 7-inch multitouch display, the Quad Cortex is incredibly easy to use. Effortlessly create even the most complex signal chains.
Cab Block
With over 1000 perfectly captured impulse responses, Quad Cortex ships with one of the most extensive IR collections in the world—and it’s the only one of its kind equipped with virtual microphones that can be positioned around the speaker just like in a real studio.

The Quad Cortex features a beautiful anodized aluminum housing with laser-engraved graphics that never fade. Our multitouch display is armored with 1.8 mm chemically hardened Corning protective glass.

Cortex Cloud
Discover users, presets, and Neural Captures via the Cortex Mobile App for iOS and Android devices. When you link your Neural DSP account with your Quad Cortex, you can create backups, share content, and download items from other users. This also unlocks the impulse response library, allowing you to transfer IRs to your Quad Cortex and manage the IRs stored in your account.
Boots in Seconds
Cortex Control boots up in seconds and immediately syncs the current status of your Quad Cortex. Pick up right where you left off—without interruptions to your workflow.
Optimized Workflow
Intuitive mouse actions and keyboard shortcuts ensure that adjusting parameters, managing files, performing tasks, and navigating Cortex Control happen smoothly and efficiently.
Bulk Actions
You can copy, like, upload, download, or delete multiple presets with just a few clicks. Likewise, you can edit, upload, download, or delete multiple Neural Captures and IRs at once.
Local Backups
With Cortex Control, you can create and manage local backups of your Quad Cortex directly on your computer. You can create as many local backups as you need. Quick actions for renaming, updating, deleting, and retrieving backups make management fast and easy.
Internet via USB
The Quad Cortex can access the internet through the USB cable connected to your computer. This ensures uninterrupted internet access for your Quad Cortex, regardless of Wi-Fi availability. The Quad Cortex prefers internet access via USB when Cortex Control is open.
Import IRs
Adding IRs to your Quad Cortex or Cortex Cloud profile is simplified with Cortex Control. Just open your IR library and drag and drop your IRs in. The IRs become immediately available in your Quad Cortex or Cortex Cloud account, depending on which library you uploaded them to.
Live Tuner
Stay in tune without opening the tuner. Toggle the live tuner by holding CMD/CTRL and clicking the tuner button in the utility bar.
Audition Devices
Click a device in The Grid and then another device in the device list to listen to it. Click the auditioned device again to add it to the grid and replace the loaded device, or press ESC to cancel the change.
Device Case
Protects against moisture (via O-ring seal), dust, shock, and is additionally impact-resistant thanks to the rib-reinforced outer geometry. Features a handle and pressure equalization valve for easy opening after use at extreme altitude or temperature. Interior padding with additionally configurable cube foam for precise adjustment to requirements.
