The result is a set of carefully selected components — a powerful Class-D amplifier, a rugged MDF cabinet, plus woofers and soft-dome tweeters that deliver true-to-source sound despite their compact size.

They also feature the patented "Twisted Flare Port" technology, which reduces air turbulence in the bass-reflex opening and delivers clear, precise bass. That's the secret behind the HS3 and HS4's excellent resolution, imaging and depth — with a linear frequency response across all bands, without coloring the original sound.

The rear panels of the HS3 and HS4 feature ROOM CONTROL and HIGH TRIM, which let you make simple adjustments to achieve the ideal sound for any environment — for example, reducing unnecessary, exaggerated low frequencies that often occur when speakers are placed close to a wall.

Inputs and Controls for Every Application

The rear of the HS3 and HS4 is equipped with combined XLR/TRS combo jacks, phono and stereo mini inputs, allowing connection to a wide range of professional and consumer gear such as computers, audio interfaces, mixers and electronic instruments. The most-used controls — power switch, volume knob and headphone jack — are conveniently located on the front.

Compact and Easy to Transport

The compact size of the HS3 and HS4 is made possible by the highly efficient Class-D amplifier. Using one amplifier for both speakers reduces overall weight and simplifies cabling. Even in a small bedroom studio they take up little space and are easy to carry.
