Pronomic SA-18 SUB Active Subwoofer 2x Set

First of all, we're talking about 2 18" subs for €550 - you can't even get one for that from long-established brands!
not even one!
The subs are clean and of really high quality workmanship, Class A/B power amplifier with a thick toroidal core, clean design, fixed crossover frequency
crossover frequency and optional signal loop through or high pass filter for the tops. Everything you need.
And now to the essentials, subs run stable, under full load they get quite warm (they are only passively cooled) but everything is
still within limits. So far no failures after 25 uses, some of them at the limit.
Sound is surprisingly good for the price, clean bass, sufficient pressure.
Power rating of 300W RMS quite realistic at 4 ohms. They do reach their limits in large rooms but
are really sufficient for 80-100 people and rooms up to a good 120m2 and provide a good bass foundation. I operate
them with 12" active tops from Thomann and am really satisfied.
Under the above conditions, a clear recommendation to buy.

Finally, two subwoofers! That they were missing in our house was always clear to us, but if the money is not there, then you (and woman) just have to use what is available.
So far, the two Yamaha DSR112 have delivered a decent sound for the vocals as a solo artist (the speakers), but when the guitars go through effects devices directly into the PA, there is something missing, yes exactly, something missing down. So a subwoofer is needed. Kirstein had the offer two for one, or so.
So I read around and plundered the band's cash and added another euro and ordered the two Pronomic SA-15 Active Sub's.
As always, I wanted them to arrive yesterday. With express shipping has also worked really well, two days later were delivered by freight forwarding!
The package arrived as always well packed. Unpacked and dragged into the band room and wired. When we wanted to put the Yamaha Sat-Speakers into the intended holder
(35mm), we noticed that one of the brackets is broken. Oh that's annoying, fortunately the Yamaha were (and are now again) on an extra stand. We can live with that as a band!
So everything wired and adjusted and band rehearsal GOOOOOO!
Wow, our guitarist with her TC Halicon processor provided with the first strokes for a new hairstyle with me. The pressure that the subs build up is tremendous.
We would not have expected that. All the better! The interaction with the Yamaha DSR112 is perfect for us.
Thus, I can only criticize the defective recording for the 35mm tripod, but here Kirstein has been extremely accommodating. Also for this a fat praise to Kirstein!
