A Stagebox That Enhances Your Mixer’s Convenience

The Tio1608-D2 is the ideal stagebox for use with the TF series or DM3. The TF series can connect up to three Tio1608-D2 units with the optional NY64-D expansion card, while the DM3 connects to a single unit. Linking the mixer and Tio1608-D2 units with a lightweight, rugged CAT5e Ethernet cable in a daisy chain provides high-quality audio transmission with low latency, eliminating the time-consuming transport and setup required by analog snakes.

Highly Reliable Dante Network Audio Protocol

Dante is favored by leading manufacturers and professionals in the sound reinforcement industry for its low jitter, low latency, and high sampling accuracy. With the Tio1608-D2, you can easily configure a powerful Dante stagebox system with little or no IT networking knowledge. Thanks to the flexibility of the Dante network protocol, the TF series or DM3 can connect to a variety of Dante-enabled devices such as R-series I/O racks.

Fast, Easy Configuration

The TF series and DM3 feature automatic network setting and audio patching functions that simplify system setup. After configuring the device ID and QUICK CONFIG switches on the front of the Tio rack, you can complete setup using the TF series’ QUICK CONFIG function or the DM3’s AUTO CONFIG by simply connecting the console and Tio rack with an Ethernet cable. Power on and you’re ready to go!

*Set the QUICK CONFIG switch to ON when using Quick CONFIG with the TF series, and to OFF when using AUTO CONFIG with the DM3.

Simple and Flexible Input Selection

Once the basic configuration is complete, you can assign inputs to best fit your system setup. All inputs can be uniformly assigned to the Tio rack in no time via the TF series’ INPUT screen or the DM3’s PATCH screen. You can also modify each input to receive signals from multiple locations, allowing you to use all inputs effectively.

Recallable D-PRE Preamps

The Tio1608-D2 inherits the natural, musical sensitivity pursued in the development of the TF series. Mechanical design, PCB layout, power supply, grounding, and component selection were executed with great attention to detail and quality, combined with extensive performance and listening tests at every development stage. The Tio1608-D2 features the same recallable D-PRE mic preamps as the TF series to ensure consistent, natural, and musical sound throughout the system.

System Example with DM3

With the Tio1608-D2, you can easily connect a digital DM3 mixer system. System setup follows a plug & play method. Simply connect a Cat5e cable, select device IDs, and the system is ready. HA remote control is possible via Cat5e. The StageMix app enables wireless remote control of the mixer from the arena, stage, audience, and more.
