Comprehensive Upgrade for Outstanding Hi-Fi Performance!
The S880DB MKII, a revised successor to the S880DB, features extensive upgrades to its acoustic architecture, electronic circuitry, user interface and design, delivering an even more authentic Hi-Fi experience.
Hi-Fi Acoustic Architecture
Both the tweeter and the midrange drivers have been upgraded. The tweeter now uses a 1.25" titanium dome (up from 1") with a voice-coil diameter enlarged to 25 mm (previously 19 mm) and neodymium magnets that deliver crystal-clear, transparent highs. The redesigned 3.75" midrange improves midrange clarity and extends the bass down to 50 Hz, producing a firmer, more balanced sound.
High-Quality Sound
The S880DB MKII is equipped with powerful chipsets from Texas Instruments and the XMOS XU216, ensuring top-tier digital audio processing. These core modules support high-resolution audio of at least 24-bit/96 kHz and deliver exceptional sound quality with extremely low distortion. The system's robust circuitry provides first-rate signal processing and outstanding sonic fidelity.
Hi-Res Audio Certified
The digital interfaces support up to 24-bit/192 kHz, and the analog front end from Texas Instruments runs at 24-bit/96 kHz, exceeding the Hi-Res Audio certification standards.
Hi-Res Audio Wireless Certified
The Bluetooth 5.3 audio receiver supports the LDAC codec at bitrates up to 990 kbps, enabling high-resolution wireless audio streaming up to 24-bit/96 kHz from Android devices (Android 8.0 and above).
Improved Bass Performance
You can connect an external subwoofer via the SUB OUT jack for deeper, more powerful bass.
User-Friendly Controls
Manage playback easily with the new rechargeable 2.4 GHz remote or the integrated volume controls. The OLED display with auto-brightness delivers clear status information.
Works With the EDIFIER ConneX App
Download the EDIFIER ConneX app for extended control and customization options such as playback control, sound-effect adjustments and personalization, plus access to the user manual and settings.
