Transformers positioned close to the amplifier circuits minimize power loss while increasing the available headroom for high-volume playback. Signal processing and power supply share a common grounding point to prevent interference and achieve a higher signal-to-noise ratio. The result is a transparent and brilliant sound. DAB and DAB+ are digital audio broadcasting formats that deliver a wide selection of radio stations in excellent sound quality. Another advantage is automatic station scanning. All station information is shown on the display. In total, 40 DAB/DAB+ stations can be stored.

Speaker Selector Switch And Speaker Terminals For Two Pairs Of Speakers

The receiver is equipped with connection terminals for two speaker systems that you can switch between easily. You can activate one system for playback (A or B) or both simultaneously (A and B).

Energy Saving

The power-saving mode automatically turns off the power (and switches to standby) when the receiver has not been used for an extended period. It can be set to activate after 2, 4, 8, or 12 hours. Standby power consumption is just 0.5 W.

Canton GLE 70 Floorstanding Speakers

The GLE 70 is the smallest floorstanding speaker in the broad series. Despite its compact cabinet dimensions, it delivers a confident sound. Three technically refined driver units on the slim baffle handle the sonic reproduction. The result is the typical Canton sound with powerful bass, well-balanced mids, and finely detailed highs.

Two 174 mm titanium woofers provide punchy, clean low-frequency reproduction in the optimally tuned bass-reflex cabinet. They feature rigid polycarbonate baskets, powerful magnet drives, and the latest generation of triple-folded wave surrounds — a combination that enables exceptionally dynamic sound with minimal distortion.

This is almost unique in this size and price class. The system is complemented by Canton's proven tweeter system with a 25 mm aluminum-manganese dome: precisely developed waveguides for optimal dispersion and coupling plus carefully matched crossovers allow accurate reproduction up to 40,000 hertz.
