The pursuit of the best sound at Canton requires a lot of hard work and the use of the latest technologies. The continuous advances Canton achieves in loudspeaker development particularly benefit the visually and technically revised GLE speakers. Especially noteworthy are the excellent titanium drivers that have been introduced into the current GLE series. Also tried and trusted is the aluminium-manganese tweeter system with a 25 mm dome, which in the GLE 30 provides finely resolved highs and an exceptionally detailed sound.

Acting as the ideal playing partner is the powerful 174 mm bass-midrange driver with a titanium diaphragm, which reproduces low frequencies with punch and precision in an optimally tuned bass-reflex volume. Its light yet very stiff diaphragm ensures balanced and neutral midrange reproduction with excellent detail resolution. The bass-mid drivers are equipped with stable polycarbonate baskets, powerful magnet systems and the latest-generation triple-folded wave surrounds — features that allow dynamic reproduction with minimal distortion.

The compact GLE 30 covers a frequency range up to 40,000 hertz — thanks to a precisely calculated and optimally shaped waveguide that provides ideal sound dispersion even off-axis.

Compact Design

Harmonious in proportions as well as neutral and modern in design, the 2-way compact GLE 30 speakers from Canton can be used in many ways — standing freely on the matching LS 660 stands, in a rack, or on a shelf. Thanks to their balanced proportions and attractive cabinet finishes in black, white or Makassar, the GLE 30 blend effortlessly into a wide range of living environments. The fronts of the GLE 30 Center are available in either matte black or satin matte white.

An optical highlight of the current GLE series are the black or white fabric grilles that attach magnetically to the baffle. Generously rounded corners give these grilles a distinctive and appealing look that adds character to the compact speakers. With a height of 36 cm, a width of 19 cm and a depth of 27 cm, the GLE 30 weighs just over 6 kg.

The universally usable 2-way compact speakers GLE 30 from Canton can be combined with other models from the GLE series to create a powerful and capable multi-channel home cinema system. For example, the GLE 90 can serve as the main speakers, complemented by a GLE 50 Center and a pair of GLE 30 as surround speakers. For the active low end, the optimally tuned POWER SUB 12 subwoofer is used, delivering impressively deep bass for the home cinema.

In combination with the smart electronics module Smart Amp 5.1, you also get an entry into the wireless world of music streaming.
