Striving for the best sound requires a lot of hard work and the use of the latest technologies at Canton. The continuously advancing developments in loudspeaker engineering particularly benefit the visually and technically updated GLE speakers. Notably, the excellent titanium drivers have been introduced to the current GLE series. Also proven and well-established is the aluminum-manganese tweeter system with a 25 mm dome, which delivers finely resolved highs and extremely detailed sound in the GLE 30.

Acting as the ideal partner is the powerful 174 mm low-mid driver with a titanium membrane, which reproduces deep frequencies with punch and precision within an optimally tuned bass-reflex enclosure. Its light yet very stiff diaphragm ensures balanced, neutral midrange reproduction with excellent detail resolution. The low-mid drivers feature robust polycarbonate baskets, powerful magnet systems and the latest-generation triple-folded wave surrounds — features that enable dynamic playback with minimal distortion.

The compact GLE 30 covers a frequency range up to 40,000 Hertz — thanks to an exactly calculated and optimally shaped waveguide that provides ideal sound dispersion even to the sides of the speaker.

Compact Design

Harmonious in proportion and neutral, modern in design, the 2-way compact GLE 30 speakers from Canton can be used in a variety of settings — whether freestanding on the matching LS 660 stands, on a rack or in a bookshelf. Thanks to their balanced proportions and attractive cabinet finishes in black, white or Makassar, the GLE 30 fit effortlessly into a wide range of living environments. The fronts of the GLE 30 Center are optionally finished in matte black or satin white.

An aesthetic highlight of the current GLE series are the black or white fabric grilles that attach magnetically to the baffle. Generously rounded corners give these grilles a distinctive and appealing look that adds character to the compact speakers. With a height of 36 centimeters, a width of 19 centimeters and a depth of 27 centimeters, the GLE 30 weigh just over six kilograms.

Ideally Combined

The versatile 2-way compact GLE 30 speakers from Canton can be combined with other models in the GLE series to form a powerful multichannel home theater system. For example, the GLE 90 can serve as the main speakers, complemented by a GLE 50 Center and a pair of GLE 30s as surround speakers. For the active low-frequency range, the optimally tuned POWER SUB 12 subwoofer provides impressively deep bass in a home theater setup.

Tuned to personal preferences and requirements, the extensive GLE portfolio allows you to assemble a custom multichannel home theater system — for maximum movie enjoyment in your own living room. Combined with the smart electronics module Smart Amp 5.1, it also opens the door to the wireless world of music streaming.
