I gave the shoulder rest as a Christmas present and it was very well received. It was the right choice.

The support is adjustable in many ways. Due to the flexibility and the secure hold, you can absolutely devote yourself to other things like bow technique and the left hand. However, it took about 2 weeks to get used to and I feel that other muscle groups are used in the upper arm and forearm (left hand). However, I see this as positive, as the energy for holding the violin is eliminated. Also had to try several chin rests, as they are equally responsible for the optimal fit of the violin. The support has revolutionized my technique in terms of speed, left and right. Since the violin is now very well positioned, I can do things that were not possible before. Nevertheless, I still play with my Kun prop from time to time, because certain techniques in swing as well as in blues require a change of the violin position, especially when it comes to percussion. This is not possible with this prop, as it can be adjusted for a precise fit. Of course you can adjust the bowing technique needed, it just takes some time. The best prop I have ever had. A good and flexible shoulder support that bends easily to follow the curvature of the shoulder and back. It provides good support.

Once you have adjusted the shoulder rest correctly, it sits perfectly and does not press. The violin can be held without much effort from the chin. My daughter loves them and the violin teacher finds them also top!
