Taylor GS Mini Mahogany

After great advice and the reviews, I decided to buy them. I am totally thrilled and don't want to let go of them. One of my visitors was also impressed and wants to buy them too.... But not mine :)

Had until now always cheaper guitars, a Yamaha and an Ovation for about 400 € each. But this one surpasses them by far in sound - it resonates so beautifully. It is also easy to play. My favorite guitar.

I bought the guitar because of the good reviews.
Well packed in a Taylor gig bag, the guitar arrived quickly to me.
The first impression was very positive, because the workmanship is absolutely high quality.
The string action is optimally adjusted at the factory.
The Mini Taylor is fantastic to play, both in picking and strumming.
It responds to even the lightest touches.
Especially for people with relatively "small hands" the shortened scale length is a great advantage in terms of playability-.
Even after several hours of playing, I have not noticed any signs of fatigue in the hands.
Truly an exceptional instrument.
It is my first guitar in this price segment, but for this Taylor, the purchase price (598 euros) is completely reasonable.
My concerns about ordering online were unfounded.
I can therefore give an unqualified purchase recommendation.

I was looking for an easy-to-play guitar and came across the Taylor brand. After a great advice by the electronic support of Kirstein via email, I then decided for the GS Mini in mahogany and what can I say: my expectations were not disappointed! The smaller form factor makes the guitar comfortable to hold and the shorter neck (shorter scale) means I don't have to spread my fingers quite so far apart when picking chords. The fingers get tired less quickly and I can hit the strings more cleanly.

In addition, the guitar just looks great because of the dark, warm tone of the wood and what is even more important: the sound really surprised me! So clear and full... I thought that I have to make in this regard by the smaller form really cutbacks and the guitar may sound a little quiet or muffled, but as I said: really brilliant!

I hope this review helps one or the other in the decision.

A small guitar with a big sound! With the usual quality of Taylor, this guitar has also convinced me in terms of workmanship and playability. This quality can be heard in every note - and that despite the small body size.
