Epiphone J-200 Studio Acoustic Guitar In Antique Natural — Includes Gigbag!

The Epiphone J-200 Studio is part of the brand-new Epiphone Studio Acoustic Collection. These guitars were completely rethought to deliver the most authentic and affordable acoustics inspired by the legendary Gibson designs. The J-200 Studio blends classic styling with modern functionality and is built to appeal to both beginners and seasoned players alike.

Based on the classic Gibson SJ-200, "The King of the Flat-Tops," the J-200 Studio features a Super-Jumbo body and a 25.5" scale length, just like the Gibson model that inspired it. The J-200 Studio produces a warm, full-bodied tone with exceptional clarity, making it versatile across many musical styles. It has a multi-ply maple body with four-ply top binding, single-ply binding on the back, the fretboard and the headstock, plus a solid spruce top for a responsive, balanced voice with excellent dynamic range that improves with age.

The mahogany neck is set into the body with a set, tapered dovetail joint and sports a 1960s SlimTaper D-profile for comfortable playability. The neck is fitted with a rosewood fretboard with 20 standard frets and is decorated with pearloid graduated crown inlays. The strings are anchored over a compensated plastic nut and secured at the moustache rosewood bridge with ivory-colored bridge pins that feature black dots. The iconic moustache bridge is adorned with four pearloid inlays.

Epiphone added other details that amplify the J-200 Studio's vintage charm, including a classic J-200 tortoiseshell-style pickguard with the legendary two-tone J-200 graphics, Epiphone Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, and a bound 60s-style Kalamazoo headstock with the Epiphone logo and Gibson crown proudly rendered in mother-of-pearl.

The J-200 Studio ships with Fishman electronics, including an S-Core under-saddle pickup and a Fishman Presys VT preamp with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls that are quick and intuitive for the player and virtually invisible to the audience. The Epiphone J-200 Studio sports a gloss finish and is available in two vintage-inspired colors: Natural and Vintage Sunburst. A standard gigbag is also included.
